Andy: The map you are referring to came from the City and County of Broomfield's website. Here is what the City told me when I asked them about the map:
The map is attempting to differentiate the portions of the spacing unit applications which are inside versus outside the City and County of Broomfield limits and that is why there is some shading for areas outside of the Broomfield limits. The Anthem Highlands area which is green is part of Docket 160800349. The purple area north and south of State Highway 7 is docket 161200490. The Anthem Ranch area which is shown in yellow is included in Docket 161200489.
It is my understanding that Extraction is proposing to drill wells that are about 2 miles long from the Lowell and Sheridan pads, so the wells they drill from these pads will reach the areas you are referring to. According to the last City Council meeting, Extraction has withdrawn these State (COGCC) "spacing applications." They plan to submit new "spacing applications" in mid to late May and to ask the State for these applications to be heard at the State hearing on July 24-25.
